Who this policy covers

Wes Frank operates wesfrank.com, the WesGPT tools and sponsorship service described here. In this policy, “we” means the operator of this site. For privacy questions or requests, contact hey@wesfrank.com.

This policy covers this website, its accounts, tools, support messages, and advertising service. SayScreen at sayscreen.com and other sites you visit through links have their own privacy practices.

Fantasy Basketball and Yahoo connections

You can connect by supplying a Yahoo browser-session Cookie header or a copied request containing it. We extract the cookie as data; we never execute a pasted command. The saved session is encrypted, linked to your website account, and sent only to Yahoo when reading basketball league pages. A session cookie is a sign-in credential and may permit broader access than the basketball data this tool requests. Where Yahoo authorization is available, we instead store your Yahoo account identifier and encrypted access and refresh tokens. Both methods cache basketball league settings, team names, rosters, draft results, and player information. We do not ask for your Yahoo password or submit draft picks, lineup changes, waiver claims, or trades.

Saved sessions, connected account records, and cached league data remain until you disconnect the connection in the tool or request account deletion. Disconnecting removes those active records from our application database; routine backups may retain earlier copies under our backup retention policy. You can revoke an authorized application through Yahoo, or use Yahoo’s account-security controls to end a browser session. If Yahoo expires or rejects a saved session, you must reconnect. Imported projection CSVs, schedules, source weights, and manual draft marks are stored in this browser under your website account and league. They are processed locally, are not uploaded to our server or Yahoo, and remain until you remove them or clear browser storage. Use only data you have permission to use. Example league data is fictional.

Information we collect and use

• Your account: name, email address, password hash, email-verification and password-reset records, session details, and email preferences. These let you sign in, recover your account, and manage your work. We do not store your password as plain text.
• Your projects: prompts, settings, uploaded images or video, audio, transcripts, edit decisions, optional mouse-interaction data, generated media, project status, and usage and credit records. We use these to run the tools, provide downloads, apply usage limits, and investigate failures.
• Your sponsorship: brand name, pitch, destination link, logo or initials, account association, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, price, payment status, and billing-period dates. We use these to publish and manage the placement. The creative you submit for an active ad is public.
• Messages: support correspondence and tool or feature requests, including your account, message, and related project. Video-editor help, bug reports, and feature requests are stored in an owner-only support inbox. Other request forms may use your account email as the reply address.
• Technical errors: the video editor records error categories, processing stages, project identifiers, occurrence times, and limited technical diagnostics so we can investigate failures. Browser reports use fixed error categories and do not send your recording or transcript. Error records expire 90 days after their last occurrence.
• Technical information: IP address, browser information, request and error information, and session or security records used to operate the site, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot. Hosting and other providers may maintain their own operational logs.

Do not include passwords, payment-card information, sensitive personal information, or someone else’s private information in prompts, uploads, ad creative, or support messages unless it is necessary and you have permission to share it.

Cookies, browser storage, and traffic counts

We use necessary cookies for sign-in and security. Where a guest session is used, a cookie associates work with that session. Browser storage remembers your current project, pending sign-in steps, and advertising drafts so you can continue after signing in. Ad drafts expire after 24 hours; clearing browser storage also removes the local copy. Audio Slides keeps unsaved storyboard edits in your browser until saved or the project expires. Microphone access begins only after you choose to record and grant browser permission.

Our own traffic counter stores daily totals by public page and a general referral source, such as Google or YouTube, for up to 90 days. A small script from traffic.wesfrank.com, our own visitor counter, also reports each page view on this site: the page address without its query string, the site you came from, and any campaign tag in the link. To count a visitor once a day, it turns the IP address and browser details, mixed with a random value that changes daily, into a one-way code. The random value is deleted after its day and the codes within two days, so visits can't be linked across days. It sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses, and keeps only totals: views and visitors by hour, and by page and source for up to 400 days. We also measure viewable sponsor cards on the rotating rails and tool loading screens. A card qualifies when at least half of it is visible for one continuous second in a visible browser tab. We also count clicks on sidebar and tool loading-screen ads, including repeat clicks. Impression and click reports retain daily totals by fixed page or tool path, placement, and paid or house-ad category for up to 90 UTC days. We publish total page views and viewable ad impressions on our advertising page, alongside aggregate newsletter and YouTube subscriber counts. Click counts and detailed breakdowns remain in the owner dashboard. These totals do not store visitor cookies, IP addresses, account identifiers, raw destination URLs, query strings, or individual browsing histories. A temporary server-memory hash of the request IP limits abusive impression and click submissions and is discarded after its short rate-limit window; it is not written to the reporting database. This is separate from account and security records.

You can clear or block cookies and browser storage in your browser. Sign-in, saved drafts, and some tool features may then stop working. Stripe and other sites you open use their own cookies and privacy practices.

Who processes information

We share information needed to provide the features you choose:

• Railway: website hosting, application database, processing, and private media storage.
• RunPod: AI image, animation, music, and video transcription processing. Relevant prompts, scene images, or recording audio are sent as needed for the selected tool.
• OpenAI: when AI analysis is available in the video editor, the transcript and a small selection of screen images are used to understand the recording, suggest cuts, and write publishing details. Shorts Maker sends a transcript to select suggested clips. Audio Slides sends a transcript to plan scenes and image descriptions. Audio is also sent when OpenAI is the configured transcription service.
• fal.ai: Character Swap sends the clip you choose and the photos you add to fal.ai, which runs the AI model that creates the swapped video. The finished video is stored in our private storage. Add only photos of people who have agreed to appear.
• Groq: recording audio is sent for transcription only when this optional service is selected by the site. Original recordings and mouse-interaction data are kept in our private storage.
• Resend: account verification, password-reset, and support or feature-request email delivery.
• Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES): newsletter and tool-update email delivery.
• Google Fonts: the site loads font styles and files from Google. Your browser sends Google ordinary request information, including your IP address and browser details, when it fetches those resources.
• Stripe: subscription checkout, payment processing, billing records, and the customer portal. Payment details are entered directly in Stripe’s hosted pages. This application does not receive or store full card numbers or card security codes. See Stripe’s privacy policy.

Information may be processed outside Canada, including in the United States and Europe, and may be subject to the laws of those locations. Providers also have their own obligations and policies for information they handle.

We do not sell your personal information or provide sponsors with our account list or private project files. Sponsor creative is intentionally displayed publicly. Channel Sponsors also receive spoken acknowledgments and on-screen brand names or logos in YouTube videos, description credits and links, and mentions in relevant WesGPT emails. Published video mentions, description credits, and delivered emails can remain after a subscription ends.

We may disclose information when legally required, to address fraud or security incidents, or to protect lawful rights. We limit access to information needed for those purposes.

How long information is kept

AI Video Editor, Shorts Maker, Character Swap, and Audio Slides projects, saved edits, transcripts, publishing details, and all media expire 24 hours after upload starts, whether or not an export completes. Saving, exporting, or retrying does not extend this deadline. Lo-fi projects and their media expire 24 hours after completion; unfinished, failed, or abandoned lo-fi projects expire 24 hours after creation. Projects disappear from My work and project/download access ends at expiry; background media deletion follows and is retried if it fails. Download files you want to keep.

After editor media deletion succeeds, its transcript, waveform, editing settings, and publishing details are removed. Audio Slides deletes its transcript, scene descriptions, and generated media after expiry; technical usage and cost records can remain. Account details, technical project records, usage and cost records, support correspondence, sponsorship records, and some Lo-fi settings can remain for administration, troubleshooting, security, accounting, and legal obligations. Error records are retained for 90 days after their last occurrence. Copies in provider logs or backups may remain until their normal retention cycle ends. Public example media is retained separately from private project files.

HTTPS, password hashing, account ownership checks, private media storage, and expiring download links help protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Access, correction, deletion, and email

You can edit sponsorship creative from your sponsorship dashboard, manage payments and cancellation through its billing button, and change tool-update email preferences in My work. New accounts are subscribed by default to emails about new tools and occasional WesGPT updates, as disclosed on the signup form. You can turn these emails off in My work or use the unsubscribe link in an email. This change does not subscribe existing accounts or override a previous unsubscribe. Purchasing a sponsorship does not change your email preference.

To request access to or correction of personal information, deletion of your account or information, withdrawal of consent, or help with an email preference, contact hey@wesfrank.com. We may need to verify that you own the account. We will explain any information we must retain or any legal limit on a request. Withdrawing information needed for an active service can prevent us from continuing that service. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions; tell us if you need help with both.

Necessary account, security, and billing messages are separate from optional marketing updates. A newsletter subscription you made separately can also be managed through that newsletter’s unsubscribe link.

If you have a privacy concern, contact us so we can investigate. You may also contact the privacy regulator responsible for your location, including the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13. Please do not create an account or submit personal information if you are under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information can contact us to request its removal.

Changes to this policy

We will update the date on this page when this policy changes. For material changes affecting how we use personal information, we will provide an appropriate notice and obtain additional consent where required.
